Interesting stuff, though as the author notes, it possibly loses a little in translation. Personally, I have no problem with haiku or haiku poets being described as useless, since usefullness implies a sense of busyness and striving that, for me, runs contrary to the haiku spirit. Thanks this eric.
I'll happily admit to being no use at all.
